Title: What happened to the color alt bars on maps?
Post by: hgtonyvi on June 28, 2017, 07:29:26 PM
I remember there use to be a altitude measurement on the corner of each map. It was in shades of color as the terrain so you would know how high each part of the terrain was. Is it a bug or HTC got rid of it?

The terrain clipboard map graphics are created by the terrain designer. Some add things, like the topo legend, some don't.

*At least that's how I remember terrains being built, having tried it myself a few years ago*

I think that is put onto the CBM by the map maker.

Edit, Dot beat me to it.

Yes the CBM is not made by HTC. It is a BMP file that is created by whoever made the terrain so how it looks and if it has a legend or not is up to the person who made it.
