I'm Spiff, and I'm a Corsair addict. There does not appear to be a dedicated intro forum, so I say hello here. I discovered AH-3 when it rolled across my Facebook, and I figured out that this is the 21st century update of one of my old favorites, AWIII. I look forward to either being your wingman, or seeing you in my sights. I'm sure I'll be taught a lesson or two along the way.

It's a little weird. Some of the treads I've read while researching could have been from 20 years ago -- just swap out A/B/C for Knight/Rook/Bishop. There's even still the 'sheep' thing.

What was your cpid in AW?

Check with BigRat and/or SIK1, both are AH Trainers and F4U addicts!

You will find that the "Help and Training" forum is friendly and helpful to answering any questions or needs you might have

I *think* that I might have been going by ScotB at the time, but it I could have been using Spiff then as well. I've been trying to remember. I remember my squadron at the time, SFRT, and already have spotted an old squadron-mate on this forum.

Saxman (whom I have not seen in a good while) used to fly in the VMF-215, if I'm remembering correctly
