Title: film viewer issue
Post by: 1stpar3 on July 06, 2017, 01:40:10 AM
I have had a few films of late that will crash the film viewer. This is the most recent offender. In particular it is one of several that wont play through after a restart of system and or film viewer. Have had a couple that will play later, next day or so? Guess updates may fix problem? Any way, this one crashes at 9 min mark cant remember everything you guys need to diagnose?

At least uninstall the Nvidia audio and disable it in the Device Manager unless you really need it for playback through your TV speakers.

See? Being chronologically well-endowed doesn't mean you're an idiot, sometimes things just slip our eyes, sometimes we catch them. Knowledge by experience...

Those HDMI pass-through audio drivers from AMD and NVidia are not very good at all.  They do not play well with other sound devices in a computer.
