Not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but the strats and bases in AH3 flash colors that are represented by enemy countries.
For instance, my colors are green for friendly fields and pink and yellow for enemy fields. When a strat is surrounded by multiple bases, it flashes pink and green. That causes confusion as to who owns the strat. :headscratch:
Please make everything flash red when under attack.

Fields flash the opposite color that you have that countries field set to.

While on the subject of flashing bases/towns, have them flash when being shelled as well. All to easy to park a gv far enough away, but still close enough to shell something. Definitely applies to our TG's. :)

The 49ers will have something to say about this! :bolt:

And what happens if you have the color selected to be red? Or are red green color blind?

Then who owns the pink/green flashing strat on a pink/green frontline?

I'm legally blind in one eye and can't see out of the other. :old:
How about writing the country name next to the % status that's shown when moving the mouse over the strat?
Or even a letter. B, K or R?

If the flash duty cycle wasn't 50% it would be easier to tell which is the normal color and which is the flash color. An 80% normal / 20% flash duty cycle would make the normal color more apparent but still register as "flashing".

Chances are, the strat is owned by the country of which it is in the back of...
If it's causing confusing, change your colors up some.

The issue is, without knowing which country owns the strat it's not immediately apparent which of the two colors it's flashing the country belongs to, regardless of what colors they are.
As a colorblind guy, I'm a big fan of the asymmetrical flash Popeye suggested or some kind of visual indicator like Caldera suggested.

Mea Culpa. There is a country indicator, it's just really small:

Please change my wish request to make whatever the cursor highlights the same size as the rest of the text on the map. :D

I didn't realize this was an issue for other people too. A change could be good.

Sounds like a classic case of give the customer what they want , not what they wish for?
I.E. The real request is that Calder wishes a way to easily know ownership of strat objects?

That is affirmative.

I left it to the OP but I like base defense. I can't tell which of my bases are flashing and which are enemy bases flashing. When on, I've clicked on plenty of enemy bases looking for a low fight.
