In AH 2 its seems that there was more control for sound adjustments. Stall horn/alerts and other things.
will we be able to fine tune individual sounds again in AH3?

I'd rather not. Lots of people used to turn their engine sound way down so they could hear other planes coming up behind them. I consider anything that eliminates that sort of gaming the system a FEATURE.

Problem is that with the new sound set up, there have been sounds lumped into a single category that we used to be able to adjust. For example, the Check 6 sound.

could put a limit on how low you can set essential aircraft sounds like the engine?
check 6 and other non essential sounds would be nice to individually adjust.

I'd just like to hear the sounds coming from the proper direction like they did in AH2.
Now, you can be sitting in town as an enemy wirb is downing buildings and the gun sounds like it's coming from a different direction than the engine sound.

It's never been clearly stated, but experience in the game seems to indicate that terrain features and structures can influence the audio environment. I want to think that is what is happening, but it may just be wishful thinking.

Too late. In the advanced tab, you can adjust Your Engine and Other Engines just like in AH2.
So, the main reason people complained about adjustable sounds is still there, but most of the adjustability is gone. Not cool.

I like would like to be able to adjust some sounds some to compensate for hearing loss. I dont think you should be able to completely kill a sound all together. I s

uhh you can still do that
you turn your sounds down and external sounds up

no you can't all the planes sound the same except the storch, all the gv's sound the same except the jeep and m8

You are wrong. You can make your engine quiet and all other engines loud. Open the advanced tab in sounds and see for yourself.

that's what I said, you can turn your own engine sound down so you can't hear yourself but the bad guys can still hear you
