Ok, my last Aces High 2 film. I only finished it because the fight at the start was so awesome (at least from my viewpoint, lol.) The title came from a conversation in the main arena about how a good title for a video would be Blood and Oil.. until the participants of the conversation remembered that was the title of a mini-series on TBS (or TNT or...), so I kept thinking along the same lines until I settled with Blood, Oil, Aluminum. As for the video, I realized that the ones I most enjoyed that were not straight air combat footage were the ones edited so that there was a change of POV every 4 seconds or so. So I tried to use that as my guideline. I also used most of the stuff I've learned over the years to make this more watchable (I cringe when I go back and look at my earlier efforts)! Finally, I searched for a good musical score (all the more appropriate Johnny Cash songs were used already by other Aces High video artists) that will hopefully keep me from suffering the wrath of the YouTube copywriter :police:. I settled upon a classical score by Gustav Holst, as it started out smoothly but increased frenetically from there.
So, without further ado, (and a demonstration of how to compress 20+ hours of work into 2 minutes, 45 seconds), I give you (very pretentiously) Blood, Oil, Aluminum!

*Rated PG-13 by the American Motion Picture Industry because of stressful action sequences, implied cursing, and gratuitous gore. :D

Very nice. I saw the blood!
I kinda miss the size of AH'2 hit sprites.
And importantly, no P-38s were harmed in the making of this film.
