Title: New to the Game? Need help in Melee Arena?

Tonight (Monday, 7/17/2017) from 6:00 pm EST until midnight...

***Maggot Suicide Squad*** is hosting fun in Melee.  Will focus on bombing and attack.  Structured missions to join.  All are welcome to participate with us.  New or experienced.


Tomorrow night (Tuesday, 7/18/2017) from 6:00 pm to midnight...

***Maggot Suicide Squad*** is hosting more fun in Melee.  Focus will be attack and fighter sweeps.  Basics of wingman flight.


We will fly as Knights.  We operate on VOX 166.

If I see you on VOX 166, I assume you are there to learn and play.  Come if you can.  Should be a blast.

And to all you red bad guys (and gals).  Come and get us!!!    :devil

The 56th can provide some "resistance" if you come to the rook front. Hope you get lots of players!  :D  :salute

Thank you to all that made it and particularly thank you Flippz for coming over to vox and helping out.

I plan to be on again tonight and do similar operations but more of them.

We did one big bombing run that eventually took the field.  Well done.  We did an attack on a V base and that developed into a dogfight against a single 109.  <<S>> to the 109 pilot.


Tonight I'd like to run a few level bombing runs so if you can make it, please come.  Same VOX (166) and we will fly Knight again.

Tonight for sure I want to run some bomber missions.  Hopefully we get a good turnout.  Went well last night though I ended the session earlier than I had planned.

Hope you've been making out ok with your numbers, This loser pilot thinks it's a great move on your part. Wish more would submit to the doctrine of "let's all go together as a group and smash'em!".

BY far the most fun I've had in this game is during Jayro's "Strike Missions" where just a bunch of randoms hold on a runway with heavy fighters and roll towards a common goal. As a new player there's safety in numbers, plus you get to sorta "follow" learned attackers into the action.

I know sometimes bomber missions can be long, but having a leader you can auto-pilot-wingman onto that doesn't "pull away" makes those longer climbouts tolerable; go grab a drink/smoke/bathroom break.. Ol' Earl sure knew how to lead them.  :salute

I loved the Jayro missions.  And Earl's missions too. 

Unfortunately something came up last minute last night and I couldn't get online.  I will be on most of this weekend so hopefully we can get a following.  So far I have 4 new or returning players and 3 experienced players.

Definitely going to keep it going.
