i just unplugged everything from my computer and changed some stuff around. plugged everything back in turn it on and i get aces high exe has stopped working. and ideas?

Not knowing what "stuff" you changed around, I would venture to guess moving stuff around would have the net effect of changing all the USB ID's, making the devices look like new entries to the game.
I would rename the "settings" folder and try again to see if it works. That would eliminate any possible conflicts.

i did change the usbs around where is this folder you speak of? all the other games are working as before
-
The "settings" folder where the game is installed on your hard drive. If you are not well versed in looking for folders and files on your hard drive, then use the Windows search and search for "settings". It will be located in the game installation folder.

I changed the settings folders to a different name. that worked. in layman terms can you explain why that happened? I haved moved them around before never having this issue before. also it sucks reseting everything

In layman terms, when you unplugged and "changed some stuff around" Windows reinstalled your USB devices to new paths so they weren't where AH thought they were. Think about getting all of your mail into a new address after you've moved, same thing.
Renaming the "settings" folder forced AH to build a new one from scratch, searching the devices in their new locations etc. Entirely deleting the "settings" folder would have given the same result, however renaming saves the old settings for potential further investigation.

Chances are you do not have to reset everything. You should be able to copy over everything but the stick settings, from the original "settings" folder to the new one.
I would like to get that old "settings" folder so we can see if we can reproduce the problem.
Were they all new settings, or were they imported/copied from Aces High II?

if you tell me how to get it to you I will send it off. I had to reset everything, I mean everything. I'm not real good with computers as you can tell.
let me know and I will send it over

If you can zip the entire folder into one zip file, you can email it to support, or post it as an attachment in the bug forum.
