Title: Reverse Splash Damage
Post by: Electroman on July 21, 2017, 01:29:44 PM
Last night while chasing JazzCC in a P51B back to A95 we observed what I believe is a bug. I was chasing in a P51D, and team mate Tek1 was flying an LA7.

Tek1 (LA7) caught up and opened fire on JazzCC (P51B). As soon as the bullets hit the P51B the LA7 exploded.

There was no other enemy close enough to get a shot fired at either myself or the LA7. It would appear that the splash damage was reversed in this case for that particular flight. The LA7 was about 600-700 yards out when he made the shot.

Cheers,
Elec1

Im sure a AH film would help a lot, if you have one. This is why I have mine set to auto record.

I thought that might be one of the first posted comments and forgot to mention it in my original post. Unfortunately I did not have film recording on at the time. However I am hoping HiTech can check the logs based on my comments at least and see what happened.

Cheers,

No, at least he didnt mention it. Pretty sure he had just gotten to the area from another base. It was fairly low, and he was going really fast. Could have maybe clipped a tree. On my end and Elec's he was about 100 above trees :uhoh Although we all know that doesnt necessarily mean it wasnt a tree on Tek's end
