Title: Some Dunkirk trivia not mentioned in the movie
Post by: toddbobe on August 02, 2017, 09:26:19 PM
Some fun info for you all about Dunkirk that was not mentioned in the movie. I will not give anything away so dont worry.

The old yachtsman was Second officer Lightoller of Titanic. I know this for sure because I was personal friends with Walter Lord who wrote the book about Dunkirk... and the Titanic.... The yacht looks a like Lightoller's yacht sundowner and he lost his son in the opening days of the war and he taught his dad how to evade a strafing run... This is detailed in the book.

Hope you enjoyed the worthless info.

Todd

A Night to Remember was one of my favorite books as a boy. How is it that you knew him?

Make up your mind. Either you needed us there, and WANT us involved in things, or you can't stand our involvement on the world stage. You can't have both.

Pay attention to who is posting. Nothing Zach posts can be taken seriously. It is usually a troll or at very least heavily in jest.

Starting to wonder if informal fallacies are actually taught in the American educational system.
