Last night I signed up for the free trial under the handle 'Giggles'. Was prompted to a Steam popup that wanted to add $15.00 to my account. Hit 'cancel' on that popup. Was able to connect to TA and MA last night just fine.
Tonight, I can open up the Online tab without an issue and see the arenas. When attempting to join an arena (TA/MA), I am prompted again to make a new handle. The handle 'Giggles' is already in use. Wondering where the mixup occurred and how we can prevent it in the future?

I am confused. In the second paragraph was that going through Steam, or the regular version of the game?
Steam accounts and regular HiTech Creations accounts are not interchangeable.

I understand your report.
It should have simply prompted you to subscribe.
I assume you were assigned the Giggles handle after entering the TA?

The first time yes, I was assigned the handle in the TA. Afterwords I went to the MA no issue.
After that night, when trying to enter an arena, it again prompts me to make a handle when trying to join an arena.

This is all through the Steam version of Aces High.

No. It still prompts me to make a Game ID.
I could create a new Game ID and see if it lets me in, but I won't do that unless you need me to.

Eskimo, the issue was you deleted that account. And Giggles had not been freed by the system yet.
-
Ah, that makes sense. My 'smithers' (steam) account still lets me free around.

Interesting, I was not aware that I had done that.
