Title: Why are external views disabled for vehicles?

I don't have much time in GVs, but with the much better terrain and great-looking trees in AH3, I've been trying to include a few sorties each time I play.

One thing I don't get is why are external views disabled?  The commanders position usually offers a pretty reasonable 360 degree view, so why can't we go to external view?  I'd appreciate seeing how the different skins look in the field, not just the hangar.

You will probably have to watch a film to see it.

If it were enabled, people would abuse it to see around corners or over hills to spot enemy tanks.

You should be able go offline or use a custom arena that you control and enable external views.
