Title: Goodbye for now and please pray.

As of now my home will take a direct hit from the hurricane, I know my home will take heavy damage if its not destroyed, therefore I will not have time to fly. I am disconnecting my system and evacuating it with me. Please pray that this storm turns or weakens enough so that any damage can be fixed.
I hope I will be back one day soon.

Last I heard it was down graded to a Cat 3. moving further west then anyone ever thought it would. Be a hoot if it missed Fl completely and ended up in the gulf some place?

Post by: waystin2 on September 12, 2017, 12:29:57 PM: Rode out my fifth hurricane since moving to Florida in 1999. Whew. Family all safe here-Thank goodness! Roof is hammered with a couple of good leaks, gonna need to be replaced but tarped up until I see the insurance adjuster. Just got our power back after almost two days without & still spotty on cell service across Central Florida.
