If you are using CCLeaner, you might want to read this and then make sure your computer is clean.  The program was compromised and an estimated 2.27 million users could be impacted by it.

That gives me a good reason to update every installed CCleaner I see. For a nominal fee, of course.

Good news is - aside it likely not having caused any real issues - that most of my customers actually don't update it too often. Just checked and my own version was 5.13 so I'm safe too.

Just ran malwarebye and came up with Trojan.Nyetya, thats the one that came in thru CC its ransomware.

I think the wifi scanner vistumbler got compromised too, it asks to update too often and clicking yes triggers MS antivirus.
