I just checked my score for fun and found out that I have a 33% hit% in fighters.. um.. something is very wrong with that. Last time I checked, only a couple days ago, I had 5% (which is right for me). I'm wondering if it has to do with something funny that happened to me a couple nights ago. I was attacking a b17 in my A8 and got hit by an escort and was forced to bail in the A1 area. As I was floating down, suddenly I was chucked into the tower and given the "you have landed successfully" message. Ok... no problem maybe just a glitch somewhere. No one shot me in my chute, nothing. Back at A14, I decided to go back up again. Hit the button to take off heading South and all of a sudden I'm looking in the face of a bunch of sheep somewhere... I'm at A1!!! All the acks were shooting at me, and I was in the form of a bailed out pilot just walking amongst the sheep. The acks didn't kill me either.. I just kept taking hits as if I was a ghost or something. I hit record because this was definitely something wrong. I caught a rook P38 lifing off a short ways in front of me. Deciding I had enough of this, I ".ef" and ended up back at A14. Tried to go up again and everything was ok. I don't think I killed anyone there, I just walked a couple of steps and looked around a little, and got no kill messages. Has anyone else had this happen? I still have the film, I hope it captured everything that happened, but I don't have a website I can post it to. I wanted to bring this up right away because I didn't want anyone to think I was a cheater or "scorepotato" or something.. It's impossible for me to get from 5% to 33% in just a couple nights. I don't sortie enough to get that.

I had my Hit % up to 580% after the first night of this tour.
I only took one shot in the whole night. It was at hangtime as it turns out. I new I must be hitting him but saw no sprites. My 1c just plowed on towards him with me firing all the way. Then he blew up. I still dont remember any sprites. Any way a nik got me right after that. And I ended the night 4-5 deaths and 1 kill. And 580 % gunnery.
Hard to maintain that kind of avarage. But It must have been padded the number of shots I took too cause it took several days of flying to get it down to 10-13 where is should be.
I was not alone because when I was at 130 % gunnery I was only ranked 3rd...
