Title: Rudder Gap

I've managed to somewhat figure out the elevator gap but the rudder is giving me some fits.

On the Mustang it really is flush in the neutral position but when you view the skin that way it lacks depth.

Here are two different methods for the rudder gap I'm messing with.   Which is better and what do I need to change to improve it?

The tail on the B is far better looking. Just add a black to transparent gradient that stars on the dark panel line to simulate the curve of the rudder's front area.

That's what I figured.  That's my new one.

Gradient just like we did with the outlets on the belly?  I will try that.
