I remember all targets destroyed and all B-26s landed safely.

My gun camera says otherwise.

I'll be honest and admit I did my best Robert S Johnson impersonation, only I didn't make it back. Salute to the two 109's that got me while I was trying to nurse a hurt and low fuel bird back home. Hope you filmed it, I forgot to turn film on. Would be cool to see from your end. :salute

lets just redo it. all allied planes fly the same route, and we axis plane will fly the same route. we promise (finger crossed).

Looks like another lost scenario........ It's not a huge issue but it's nice to see how it all worked out in the end. :frown:
-
This is unwittingly my fault I think. First fso I have been able to participate in for the last two months then compounding that, I got two B26s for certain and chopped the wing off another that was smoking when I engaged it. Sorry guys, who knew I'd actually contribute! I won't let it happen again. :rofl
-
I think it's my fault. Something always seems to go haywire whenever I'm a CIC.
-
Nah, I think it's mine.....'twas the first time I got a bombing run right...... :bolt:

Still Waiting :old: :bhead

Looks like they are not recoverable. Tech glitches can still get us sometimes. :(

I guess we're starting from scratch then, right!!! :devil  :salute

Damn on the logs. It was a great frame!!! Pigs flew towards 128 area initially then finally made the decision to fall back to 129 to bolster defenses there. I told my Pigs stay focused stick together, our job is one thing in these 190's and that is bombers. Don't get tangled with the high fighters that I know are there at 129. Sure enough, high jugs. We weaved our way through them in a pack at around 30k+ trying to stay intact as a group and holding for bombers we know are coming. Finally realized we are not gonna get at those bombers with all of these damn jugs swirling around. So, I turned the pack loose. What a fight at high alt. Jugs and 190's criss-crossing we lost a couple the jugs lost several more and I think we were able to at least push them off the high cap in time to engage the B-26's. We dropped onto the 26's from alt and gave them a severe mauling. Dropped several bombers before pulling the Pigs back to the west to reform then finally retire for the night. A big salute to the Axis team and to those jug & B-26 pilots!

So does somebody know why the logs got messed up?
Simple yes or no is fine.
Then, are we sure there won't be the same problem on Friday?
Again, a simple yes or no is fine.

It is a great record to think of everything they have to think of and plan for and everything that could go wrong but still gotta laugh at KDDitto's last line, ROTFLMAO

Famous last words DH.......... :devil
I have been doing FSO for a long time, the few screwups I've seen are not worth mentioning! I have it scored as another sortie....only thing that really matters :aok
It's a lot of work being a CM,players need to cut them some slack and just have fun...IMHO.
:salute
PS: Is it Friday yet?
-
Wait. There is nothing to be gained here from being stealthy. I can explain what happened. An hour before launch we realized that the player missions would not load. Same map, same problem I had in April. So 4 CM's set about to fix the problem. One of the fixes was to reset the arena. So we reset and rebuilt the arena. Eventually, some squirrel found an acorn and we got the missions to work. We confirmed that the logs were open and running. They were! They were just not recording. The simple answer is that in fixing one problem, we broke another. Setup for the game is somewhat complex... we can now adjust weapons, weather, wind, object hardness and even time to simulate the longitude and latitude of the frame in play.
Now I didn't ask for permission to post this (I know Warloc and Nef you want to talk to me . . . again). The reason why I posted this is for you guys. This thread could have been nasty and accusatory. Instead, you supported the CMs. And for that, we will continue to support you by bringing events and doing our best to fix the problems we can. As for Friday, we have the missions fixed and after the logs are running. . . . NO BODY TOUCH NOTHING!

whats this little red button do?

whats this little red button do?
Captain are you sure that you are not Unclkurt? He used to have that same morbid fascination with the buttons.
-
Buttons did someone say buttons??? OHHH Boy buttons :devil

Good luck everyone! Wish I could be there, but alas, shore leave calls for me!
As for the logs, we're all human. Do your best and I'll be happy. :aok
