It has to do with voice, when exactly did it crash? Also do you remember hearing a voice playing when you were leaving the arean?

Yes it's voice, I crashed leaving the game while the VOX queue was playing the last players voice. When I clicked on the exit button I got a white screen while his voice played back, then a CTD.

I think you are right, squaddies were saying good night as I left.  It happens just as I enter the MA.
