Title: How do I get game to recognize pedals for rudder?
Post by: Smothers on November 04, 2017, 12:49:12 PM
Hey all,  Been awhile since I played and since have had to download the game after my hard drive failed and had to be replaced.  I don't seem to remember how to get my Thrustmaster pedals to be recognized for the rudder.  I see the pedals in the dropdown menu for controllers, and I can calibrate them, but when in the game the rudders are being controlled by my twist stick, not the pedals.  Help

Thanks,  Pheasant

You're close. Choose the pedals from the dropdown menu, find the axis (or button) you want to assign a function with, double click the axis and choose from the menu. My Saitek pedals have X, Y and Z axii of which Z has an addition of "rotary". X and Y are toe brakes, Z is rudder on my pedals. Probably pretty much the same with yours.

Unassign the rudder from the stick and assign it to the pedals.

Thanks, I have the pedals working for the rudder but don't seem able to make them work for the brakes.  I unmapped the break functions from the keyboard, and mapped each pedal for the either the left or right brake but they aren't working.   What am I doing wrong?

IIRC the toe brakes are analog,so look under analog to map the brakes.

Also remember to calibrate the brakes, otherwise they'd be on-off only.
