Title: Saitek X52 joystick is 'bouncy'
Post by: Mister Fork on November 14, 2017, 05:19:33 PM
Hey guys - just curious to those flying with the older Saitek joysticks, what are your settings in-game for this?  Mine is very bouncy - input seems very harsh and my plane seems to bounce around as I try to line up my shots... dampening settings I guess?

I turned Scaling on in AH settings. (this helped a lot)
Give a bit of dead-band on all Axis.
Pitch I use some dampening. (I tend to stall a lot, so that helps me)

I do have a problem with the Z-Rotation spiking.  That is something that I think I'll have to try and fix within the stick itself though.

Powered Hub? Then clean. Still use an old x52 throttle, but the stick would always spike until I got a self powered usb hub.

All those nice blue nonsense LEDS powered.

MOD the hall effect magnets and you will have a stick that will be very good.

Why they put the magnets on a rachet instead of keeping them static is the most stupidest thing. ( ten minute fix)

There are some pics on forum of mods for this stick
