3rd time of late that I have encountered this.

The next time this happens, type .psave

This creates a cmepos.cfg file in your settings folder, cut and paste the contents in here. It gives me the exact location.

I do have film of the last instance if that helps this time?

Yes that would help. If it is an ahf film not a video.
