Whenever I put the BB or cruiser main guns, and the 5 inchers for that matter, in Land Mode or Sea Mode, the crosshairs/reticle is anywhere from 45 degree to 90 degrees offset from the green box that appears when you switch to either mode.
I have to use the view buttons to get the green box into view to see where my shells will be hitting and walk my fire into the target.
Anyone else have this issue, and if so, what is the fix, if any?

Are you doing this after you have moved the turret from it's default position or while you have your view pointed somewhere other than the default when you first spawn into the gun?

In land/sea mode your head position is not linked to the turret position like shooting AA guns. Use the mouse to position your head towards the targeting area, then either hit your H key, or Escape key to bring up your map to lock that position. From there it will move with the target (as long as you remain in firing arc).

What Wilbur said.
Usually the clipboard map is already open if you are going to use land mode (Shift-Q by default). As soon as you click on the map to direct the guns, the gun will turn but you are left looking at the big white crosshairs. Just close your clipboard map and use your mouse to move the white crosshairs to where the yellow scale is (the direction the guns are pointing), then open the map back up. As long as the map is open, the white crosshairs will stay put. Use zoom when positioning the crosshairs if you want to use them in targeting.

You can use your A and D key to move the yellow grid left or right and the W and S keys to move the yellow grid up and down once you have clicked on the map for land mode or aim the guns towards your target and hit Ctrl+Q for sea mode and make adjustments with your keys. The white grid moves with your mouse.
