I have been getting an extra amount of Radiator hits in the IL-2 so i have been saving the films...
Problem is i have 3 films with NO rounds hitting the aircraft let alone the radiator.
Is it the rounds are off in the film?
It has no hit sprites or anything.
Vary odd indeed.

I've always thought the IL2 was just behind the Dora as far as glass radiators go.  But it can also coast forever with prop feathered back and engine off, so I can normally land it with no issues, even with a blown engine...  but yeah, it seems really weak for a 'flying tank'.

I think with the Dora to get it fixed, it took a couple people filming shooting the tail section with a 45 repeatedly and it scoring radiator hits before they looked into the damage model for that plane.
