What is the best way to make an ahf file into some kind of standard movie format? I tried to use the Film Viewer export function and got a 1.5 gig avi of 4 seconds of me in the tower :frown:

I've never been able to export the AHF to any usable format, or any decent file size. The built in codecs are garbage. :cry

I've never been able to get that to work properly either. I just use shadowplay to record what I'm seeing on the monitor after I go full screen in the film viewer. Any screen capture program should work.

I use OBS it's a free video capture software. run the film in either full screen or window and use OBS to capture it. Export the file and and you can upload to YouTube, or post from your own site.

If you save as .AVI you get smoother playback but no sound recording. You need to select the multi-file option in the save to avi option.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll experiment.

The Codecs are not supplied with the film viewer. They are what you have installed in Windows, and they are not very good at all.
Use multi-file, with no compression and it will work just fine.
But it does not contain audio.
