Crap.. and to think I came up with this, sober...

Under the premise that if people had a common thing to hate, the enthusiasm and participation levels would increase..

I present to you a different form of alignment, instead of our current chess pieces:

Contemporary phobia arenas:

Cola Wars:   Countries:  Coke, Pepsi, Evian

Car Wars: Ford, Chevy, Chrysler

Car Wars II: Toyota, Honda, Nissan

Car Wars III: Acura, Infinity, Lexus

Car Wars IV: BMW, Mercedes, Audi

ESPN Wars:  NFL, NHL, MLB

ESPN Wars II: NFL, FIFA, um.. That should do.

Beer Wars: Budweiser, Coors, Miller

Console Wars: Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo

Don the colors of your favorite product and defend the home office!

Of course, you'd need separate squad databases to support the side switching as different 'flavors' are cycled in.

Damn the lawyers and trademark infringements..  COAD Away!!!!

No.
They are now playing in their old arena again, which is more fitting to a 4th league (Regionalliga Bayern) team.
