The 2017 Tournament of Champions (TOC) will be held Saturday 6th January at 3pm EDT, 8pm GMT, 9pm CET in the SEA II arena. 1st Plane will be the Mosquito as chosen by the reigning Champion Thrila!
The following players have earned the right to compete in the event over the course of the past year;
Bruv119 [2], FdSki, Geaux, Horble [2], JeffN [2], JunkyII [2], Krupnski [3], LzbnCgul, Makayla [6], Natcigg, Negan, Phast, Rud3boi [6], Sawzaw [2], Sonic27 [2], Spek, TC [2], Thrila [3], Tinydncr, Toxiin, Trogdor and Violator.
Not forgetting there are still 2 more December KOTH's to earn an invite!
If your name isn't on the list and you feel you have earned an invite please say so in this thread or PM me so I can investigate. Spectators will be welcome from the tower providing they have GOD mode setup and keep relatively quiet on text/vox. Players have to be flying under the ID's they qualified in.
Hopefully as many invitees can make it for what is normally a fantastic display of the best pilots the game has, fighting it out, to achieve immortality as TOC Champion. :cheers:

Nobody has any control over this but hopefully people with invites already will let others get them these last 2 KOTHs, you really only need one to make it to the big show.

Might actually make a KOTH here. I’ll prob just get my wabbit status for the invite then let someone else take the event win.

Is God-mode the same as CM-eye? I think I have instructions for that. I'd like to see this.

TOC fights are top notch, imagine all the best KOTH fights and put them all together.
It shows how good Aces High would be if the caliber of the average player was increased, and it's epic.

I think I may have won 3 total rounds in the few KOTHs I did this year... but not in the same event. :headscratch:

I went to participate in the KOTH events for a good many years with no intentions of trying to win an event or even becoming a wabbit..... I only showed up to enjoy the fights.... ( I started playing KOTH events back in Air Warrior and every since HTC added it as a special event here, back in the early 2000's)
That and back in the early years, the KOTH CM's BigMax, Gremlin fuzeman and maybe WMLute? Kept a yearly running tally of total kills for KOTH participants..... In which Jish65 and I kept a heated competition going between the two of us to be the top fighter....
I've missed that part of the KOTH event, every since it stopped, so then I gave in to flying to win 2 rounds for wabbit status then gave in and won some monthly KOTH events.... Then it brought on a new game within amongst several of us longtime KOTH event players to where we would try and win the most monthly KOTH events...
But seriously, the main reason I ever really show up and participate in KOTH is for the awesomely fun and sometimes palm sweating knockdown dragged out dogfighting....
Becoming a wabbit or winning a monthly KOTH event earns you a KOTH Tournament of Champions event invitation.... Which will allow you to mix it up and dogfight in some great battles against some very talented players of the game in and all different types of fighter models and attack plane models...
I encourage everyone to come and participate in the KOTH events (2 per month) in 2018! If you stick with it and keep showing up and trying, the knowledge, experience and lessons learned are priceless....
