If I was to put out an advanced ACM series on how to handle 1v1 1v2 1v3 ... etc would people be interested? It would be a 1-4 part YouTube series with me voicing over my views on how to handle situations. I will skip the basic stuff in all honestly as many other players covered it, but I’m aiming more towards the ‘next level’ type of combat.

Yes.
-
I'd be very interested.
-
Hell yes. :aok
-
For sure

Definitely, and thank you for considering this! For me much of the fun of this game is learning. :aok
-
Yes. Very much!

Figured I’d give back and try and influence more quality fighting in the MA. I’ll begin cutting up some films and breaking them down. It will be a multiple part series. As in one will be all about how to properly use the barrel roll over shoot, what to do after a merge, and scissor’s and all that fancy stuff.

I think that'd be great, especially for people like myself that have been here too long and get stuck in a certain set of tricks/moves. It might be refreshing to see some other players takes on situations and expand my horizons. :joystick:

Having a very hard time with film viewer not displaying the terrain at all. I either have a completely black sky under 7k and completely black ground over 7k. Anyone else have this issue?

Yup

This is a big problem lol

Try playing with your graphic settings. I have had no problem with the film viewer and I use it all the time to check skins.
-
I've seen some wierdness when trying to play AH2 films in AH3 film viewer. Especially if the terrain doesn't exist in AH3.

thank you. I’ll try those settings. Are you running Dc9 or 11? I run 9.
-
I play on Dx9. but will launch Dx11 to turn on shadows and reflections for skin work since the Dx11 icon is what's on my desktop.

Another option is OBS Studios. Its a low profile free program that you can use to capture in game video. Set up a hot key and film only what is going on and it will save them one after the other. Easy to use and it is already in a format that you can load to youtube.

OBS will record your voice. If I remember correctly it will allow you two have multiple audio tracks, in case you want your voice on one track and the game audio
on another track.
That's handy, in case you need to do some voice-over without altering the video.

Good know. I’ll try it since I can’t get my films to work for jack. Tried changing in game settings to default and still no go. I’ll record live in game with me talking about in real time what I’m seeing and what I’m doing.

You dont have to do the voice over AS your filming, you can edit and add it in later with some free/cheap editing software.

I was going to use Sony video shop like in my past videos more than likely.

Making any progress yet or is there anything i could help you out with?
I am very interested to see the final result. Because i think the game will become more fun the more good sticks you encounter. I was actually considering making a traing series as well (this was a few weeks before i you posted this).
(my personal preference for editing software is Adobe premiere pro and Adobe after effects. But i know Tactus is using Windows movie maker, this seems to be a bit less complicated to use. PS: for recording OBS seems to be the go to software indeed. I am still using shadowplay (nvidea's own software) it also can record separate audio tracks but overall it its more limited.))
I don't know if anything i posted is helpful but i hope it is.

Davinci Resolve 14 (https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/) has a free version that is very powerful and more than enough to do some quality tutorial videos.

I shouldn’t need any help, it’s just I wish I could get my film viewer to work right. I have a killer film of me and rudeboi fighting. I hope it isn’t messed up. I’ll check my film viewer again.
-
You also might try sending the films you want to use, to someone, to see if it's a problem for them to render it out for you.

Hi, I have finally began recording film clips without issue. I’ll have some that are live in game and some films that have been cooperating with me. Should be voicing over them in the next week here and posting my first of many films!
