Well I finally found some new flying gear locally which is an absolute nightmare. This country seems to love racing more than it does flying so I was rather surprised to find much of anything worthwhile let alone what I found. Spur of the moment I decided to hit one of the 20+ malls in this location. The local computer shop finally had in some custom water cooling gear so I started poking around and that's when I saw the Logitech G PRO Flight Rudder Pedals. I got giddy thinking he listened to me and got some flight sim gear in but of course they only got a third of the gear I needed. I told them hold up I wanna go check out a few stores to see if they have the other two thirds of the gear so I can buy the rudder pedals. A new store that had been in the works for almost 6 months now had finally opened at it was supposed to be all about gaming. At first I was disappointed because the had only one "HOTAS" setup but it was very cheap and that's when the employee said oh and we got this. As he picked up the box I could barely see it but recognized the packaging right away. It was a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS set and without even seeing the price I said I will buy it. Then they ring it up and I see the price in the local currency and I ask is that in US dollars and they quickly stated no it's in AED. I about jumped on their counter in joy as they had it marked for half the normal cost you can find online in the US and even less than what you can normally find it online for local distributors. I am back in the mix with playing now but with a little bit of a guilty conscious knowing they had to have miss marked the price or really had no idea the gear was the set and not individual pieces.

Iracing is very popular. I started a few months ago and have had a blast. Racing simulator gear can get very, very expensive.
Interesting, iracing and AH parallel each other in may ways. The big difference in equipment is force feedback is big in iracing but not so in AH.
