Title: What airplane is this?

I’m stumped.  Probably for the first time ever I can’t figure out what airplane I’m looking at.    Help!

Yep there is that panel and the tiny view port by his hand both in front of the wing root.

Thank you!    My mind was saying “It has some F-105ishness to it but it isn’t that.”   The gray paint was murdering my brain.

Did some digging.  Looks to be from a photo shoot done of Yeager at Edwards AFB in 1990.  They have an F84F on display there.
