Help!! Thanks...lol
I have a HP laptop with an NVDIA 4GB card. The NVDIA launcher does not detect AH, AH does not detect my card.
Apparently it detects World of Tanks and Minecraft...

Are you referring to the GeForce experience?

If you're talking about Nvidia Control Panel not having AH3 in the list of programs, you can manually add the game.
Go to Nvidia Control Panel/Manage 3D Settings/Program Settings/Add. Click Add, then go to where AH3 is installed and click on the games executable.

What Coogan said, plus one thing: Add both aceshigh9.exe and aceshigh11 exe just in case you want to experiment with the different DirectX versions.

Thanks, let me give it a whirl. I selected the folder not the exe. Uninstalled, going to try again.
-
Nope. The graphics panel does not see aces high in the aces high folder and aces high does not see the graphics card...bah
-
Now that sounds funny. And you were using the Nvidia Control Panel instead of some other gaming tool they provide?
-
still need to know, Control panel or GForce Experience. AH isnt an optimized game and wont show under Games List in GFE

gforce experience. the control pane seems just to be for the intel 620?

Right click on the desktop and choose, "NVIDIA control panel" after that opens , in the left column click on "Manage 3D settings", then click the "Programs settings" tab in the right column. Give it a minute to populate the drop downs. Use the drop down box to find the AH in the list. If it is NOT in the list click the "ADD" button and browse to the AH exe file.

Have you checked in your Device Manager/Display Adapters to see if your card Nvidia card is actually being detected?

Ok. The Gforce Experience wont show AH, as AH is not an Nvidia Optimized Game. The Nvidia Control Panel as other has suggested may need to be pointed towards AH's exe file. Post an DXDIAG so these guys can see what you have available, will help out also

If right click on Desktop doesn't show the link to Nvidia Control Panel, it's located in the Windows Control Panel.

Do not worry about those numbers. When you have more than one video card the Windows primary card is where those come from. They are just informational.

Ah! fantastic. I have a frame rate of 50-60, now I just need to play around with the detail settings. Thanks as always Roy, you are awesome.
