P-40F of the 65th Fighter Squadron, Tunisia 1943. This aircraft was photographed in color by Life magazine sometime in the first half of 1943. "White 62" sports an unusual rudder painted completely in Insignia Blue. Also unusual is the lack of alignment to the side numbers. Paint scheme is Desert Sand over Neutral Gray with US insignia on both wings and RAF styled fin flash on the vertical stabilizer(Note the different tone in colors here vs. the U.S. red and blue)

Very nice Devil! You have a talent for grunge and it really makes the skin look authentic.

Very nice! My Uncle, 2nd Lt. Clair Bigelow, 57thFG/65FS, KIA 12/20/43 while on a dive bombing mission in Italy in P-40L.
This is the first skin for a P-40 I have seen for his squadron the 'Fighting noodles". I would love to have this skin.
Good work Devil!

Gosh...That was the "Fighting noodles". Where did "noodles" come from? Is that a banned word?
