Let HTC know what's important to you! No registration needed, vote once but for as many aircraft choices as you would like - I've listed as many new aircraft as I can think of; there are 34 total, consisting of many different types and roles. Some aircraft, like float/sea planes, would require code changes to implement.
I'm not setting a poll "close" date and have opened it up so we can all see voting totals real time.

Thanks Oboe...............voted for two of them. Ki-100 and of course the Beaufighter.
-
So many FSO gap fillers..
I clicked a lot.
-
:aok voted, lots of interesting choices.
-
:)

I dunno if this is going to give you much useful info being that there is no limit to how many you can vote for.
If you can vote for EVERYTHING then a ranking system within the voting itself would better serve your goal.
I voted any way but only picked three.
-
Last year (January 2017), my poll consisted of only 12 aircraft and you could vote for only one.
Back then there were 63 voters and the top vote-getter was the Fiat G.55 Centauro with 21%, followed by Beaufighter at 17%, Meteor at 14%, and King Cobra at 11%.
Hope we get more voters this year!
The EasyPoll software doesn't support ranking choices, unfortunately. You get what you pay for :)

I voted for 5
Lagg-3
Beaufighter
Wellington
J2M
TBD-1
-
Voted for more than I thought I would but favorite is beaufighter
-
I think I voted for about half of them! There were about ten more planes I wanted to include originally but I wasn't sure how unwieldy this format might become, so I culled the list. There are a bunch of variants I'd like too, like the earlier versions of the B-17 and B-24, and the B-25J. Initially I had in mind multiple questions with aircraft grouped into classes, but the software only allows one question.
Some of my favs were the Beaufighter, Meteor, Helldiver, SM.79, P-36/Hawk 75, King Cobra, J2M and Ki.100.
-
I would have voted for the Machhi C.200 if it was on the list.

Doh! Sorry, I'll make sure it gets on the list for next year's poll.

Man that Meteor looks awesome!
voted for quite a few in the end.

No P61???!!!???
Travesty!

Why does everyone like the Beaufighter so much?
Just curious.

I’d like to see it because it served for most of the war on multiple different fronts. Would be great for special events/FSO.
Although most of the planes on that list would also be good for that so I voted for them too lol
-
Wow the Mig-3 has come outta nowhere to reach 2nd place. Wasn't even on the poll last year. Wonder if its related to IL-2 Battle of Moscow recent release?
I also forgot about the Hs.129...

It just looked mean to me. Could probably use more Russian planes.
I'd preferably like to see more late mid war planes, which ever those might be. Just my opinion, but I feel they make the best fighter action.

Sounds reasonable. The mossie and P38 need more competiton! And 110 for that matter.

This. Served on every front from 1941 until the end of the war in a variety of roles. It was the true workhorse of the RAF.

Can I be a super delegate? ;)
Cool poll Oboe. Voted for the Beaufighter and TBD-1. :salute
-
I think most important is adding planes made in other countries in support of those players in other parts of our world.
Well done poll OBOE.
-
Voting is fun :aok
I would like to nominated a plane for next year's poll. there is not enough Dutch pride here

The Fokker D.XXIII never made it past the prototype stage so would not qualify for inclusion in AH- but, 50 Fokker G.1 were made and saw combat, so that one could fit with our early War plane set. Cool-looking aircraft as well:

I'll include it in next year's poll. :salute

It would be cool to see some ww1 planes in there :D

You're right about that, Kanth! I'd thought briefly about including vehicles, too, since we don't have any British tanks in game and wondered whether people would want a chance to vote on those too...

Haha your right! But i was only joking and the propeller at the back looks awesome.
But it would be very cool to have some Fokker planes in AH

Hey 81 voters so far - in what, 24 hours? That's about a 30% increase over last year and last year's poll was open about a week, IIRC. Here are the top 5 aircraft at this point:

Interesting, the D.520 and Mig-3 were not part of last year's poll.
-
That g55 looks pretty cool. What kind of ammo does the plane have, and what year is it?
-
Voted for:
Fiat G.55
Mitsubishi J2M
Nakajima Ki-44
Bristol Beaufighter
DeWoitine D.520
Consolidated PBY Catalina
Kawanishi H8K "Emily"
Vickers Wellington
Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero
Nakajima B6N Tenzan ("Jill")
Yokosuka D4Y Suisei ("Judy")
Junkers Ju.188
Was that more than half of them?
-

Mid 1943 onward. Has two 12.7mm Mg's and three 20mm cannon.

I believe there were 34 so you voted for more like a third of them. Thanks for voting!

Sweet!! Could definitely use more Italian Planes as well!
-
Beaufighter and Ju-52, both are WAY overdue

Ki-100 is a great aircraft. As I recall they couldn't make enough in-lines for the K-61 so they fitted a radial. The result was the Ki-100 considered by some to be the best Japanese fighter of the war.
It is sturdy and has more protection then other Japanese Aircraft as I recall. It had outstanding performance. If I remember correctly the K-100s first engagement was with a squad of F6Fs' and cleaned the Hellkitty's clocks. I'm sure that could be verified somewhere. I forget a lot.

Of course I voted for the Meteor Mk. III
-
Write-in: P61
Great poll!
I think context is a big issue for me. I'd love to see some of those early war birds, but minus good scenarios they would be hangar queens. I'd love to see the Kingfisher be able to control fire for the cruiser and battleships, though until then, not much role for it.
In any case... 2 weeks! Haha

Disappointed that the A-26 votes. not even 10 years ago ppl were calling for it more than the any other plane.
-
A Poll-list isn't far from a Wish-list is it not.
Careful your thread don't get locked for some BS. :headscratch:
Edit: I like your post oboe, just not the point and shoot that goes on around here from the Mods'.

I can see how a new aircraft poll could be considered a wish list, but it could also be considered a survey. I just posted it in the same forum as I did in last year's poll.
It's interesting to see how some planes have perennial popularity, while others have lost some. The Beaufighter continues to have very strong support, whereas the Meteor seems to have fallen since HTC's last official poll, which was won I think by the Yak-3, and followed the Me410, IIRC?
Current leaders after 116 voters:
Beaufighter - 51 votes
G.55 Centauro - 42 votes
Mig-3, J2M Raiden, P-63 King Cobra - tied for 3rd place with 36 votes
D.520 - 32 votes
Meteor - 31 votes
Next two Ki.100 and P-51A at 30 votes each.
Interesting, Beaufighter is the only non-fighter in the bunch. The G.55 and Meteor are really the only heavily-armed, 400+ mph MA dominating, super-fighter types left to model that I can think of. Also, I wonder if people are aware of how lightly armed the Mig-3 is, having only 1x .50 caliber and 2x .30 caliber machine guns?
Thanks for voting!

Wow, A-26 did not make the list.

It’s a dog, though.

G55, Beau, Meteor, + a couple others. Really would like the Brit Jet, it'd make Bruv happy, and having jet vs jet fights, even though IIRC the Meteor and 262 never met, would be a lot of fun. Plus a jet with Hispanos MK Vs = El oh Els. G55 I've wanted since I first read about it.

Westland Lysander. Give the logistics players some teeth.

No p-61

P-61 will be included in next year's poll (unless we have it by then :D). Hope you are well, Yeager!

Can you really PARK it if it’s just a mass of busted up and smoking parts?
