Ray Wetmore enlisted in the Army in November 1941 and upon commissioning was assigned to the 359th Fighter Group. Flying with the 370th FS, he scored his first four kills flying the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt. After the Group converted to the P-51, Wetmore added to his score steadily while flying several Mustangs nick-named Daddy's Girl. Between November '44 and January '45, he downed 12 enemy fighters; his last victory was a rocket-powered Me-163 in March. His final score was 21.25 destroyed and one damaged in aerial combat, highest score in the 359th FG and eighth best of all Americans in the European Theater. "Daddy's Girl" was named after his daughter Diane, the first of four children born to Wetmore and his wife.

Most excellent.
A vast improvement over the previous version.

Can we see another angle? There's a big dark wing covering it. :D

Sure - here are some older shots. The only difference from that version is I had to remove the yellow outline to the white star, since it was pointed out that it was actually masking tape being used while they were touching up the insignia. I also increased the environment values a bit.
