whenever I see something kind of cool I would like to be able to save those coordinates so that i can look at them later in offline mode.
is there a way to get this information ? i know that there should be a dot command for it but i dont know which one it would be

there is a .psave command, but Im not sure which folder it saves it in, nor am I sure that you would be able to use the information to FIND that spot again.

found it,
it is in the settings directory and the filename is cmepos.txt
it will only contain the info you that you have stored once, it is useful in sending terrain bugs to hitech
here is an example of what is stored
-430017,46,-212158,0.0,0.0,178.6
ndisles
FOV = 76.5

Each time you hit .psave it will put the most recent location in the cmepos file in the settings folder and retain it until you hit the .psave command again for a new location. I think you can empty the cmepos file by .pclear, but I'm not sure if this is the right . command. There is a . command for clearing the cmepos file, but I can't remember it right now for sure.

Those coordinates are for use inside of the terrain editor. I suspect Hitech may have an administrator rear end that he uses a dot command in the text buffer and it will move him to that exact coordination in god mode. When I'm testing my terrains during the boo-boo hunting phase, the psave helps to get back to very tiny texture problems inside of the terrain editor.

I'm doing data collecting in offline arena, and just noticed that Lat/Long is displayed in E6B.
You might consider seeing if that is available in the other maps (I haven't looked at a non realworld map...must gat back to data!) :airplane:

You can give the .psave a name to gather several of them. So it would be ".psave name" without the quotes.
