Based on choices, cost, and appearance, which do you prefer?

Class A to military funerals or functions like unit balls. Hoping they bring back the pink and greens, but I'll be out before it matters

Otherwise, if you have a bit of change, a fitted suit looks sharp as hell for most other occasions.

I got fitted for the first time today, planning on shopping around for a decent first suit. But damn they are expensive

Yeah, having a civilian suit or a 'mess kit' is sometimes handy as they tend to be more ideal towards formal gala's and your Class A is better suited towards formal military functions. I don't have the mess kit - but a civilian suit.

Any version of the Marine uniform looks great.   

“Green B” is like a biz suit (think Ollie North testifying before Congress).
