Title: Roads/Railways

How do these work?  I'm assuming all the maps will need to have them drawn in?

I dont know if this answers your question, but it is what is posted in the release notes.

"3. Added roads rivers and rails, not unlike previous releases you do not need to add trucks, trains, and barges with the road system.
   These are created on the fly. Road length no longer effects the speed of convoys."

I do not recall seeing roads, railways, or convoys leading to bases. and towns at all in AH3.  At least none that have actual traffic like in AH2 days.  :old:

Correct, but they are coming back.

I dont know, I missed this weeks meeting at HTC   :neener:

I would think soon, Hitech posted here that he was getting back to it....

And you did post in the thread where Hitech posted a picture of the road meeting up with a bridge so he may be close to a release.

I created a new terrain last night and it automatically put them in. not sure if I had to or not, but I did. if they go through another base, you have to fix them, that's how I know I had them!  :furious

not a big deal to move them around(roads). don't know about rivers.

So we'll have moving convoys to shoot up again on the roads, and maybe waters?  Looking forward to it.  :cheers:

Capitain1ma, what's the terrain like?  European, or Pacific map you made?
