She was hoping for a similar personality. She says they do not have similar personalities. At least she's honest about it having failed.

As to the shelter dog, you know that was never on the table here. It was this, or a purebred puppy from a breeder, most likely a reputable one.

All of our dogs have come from shelters and have been great additions to our home. I do need to stay away from the shelters, otherwise I could come home with 20 dogs after visiting.
