That is a very good looking TBD, considering.

I've just been staring at pics in awe. It never gets old looking at artifacts of WWII to which the time has stood still for so long. There no Devastators left on land and now suddenly there are seven examples there that are far, far more than just corroded remains (original paint!) that are usually found in shallow waters.
Looks like heat damage on the paint of that F4F...

Does Paul Allen have a YouTube page of them posting more videos of the wreck?

Doesn't have anything more than that roughly minute long clip yet, but here's the channel where something more could be posted later on: https://www.youtube.com/user/VulcanIncVideo/featured (https://www.youtube.com/user/VulcanIncVideo/featured).

Working in IT, I have had a hate/hate relationship with everything Microsoft. The company was built on a scam (QDOS), and I avoid their products like the plague.
Having said that, Paul Allen should be highly commended for the millions he personally pours into efforts to locate military wrecks at the sea bottom.

I loved QDOS! (Gawd, I'm dating myself and IT). And then they purchased DR-DOS when it started outselling Dos 3.0 and then incorporated it's features into Dos 5.0. I'm wondering if Bill and Allen made better businessmen than IT futurists?
What would be really cool if they were to bring those airplanes up.

All of these are salvageable. I’d like to see money directed to that cause...

I'd hope the first plane they bring up and restore is a TBD. They may be able to restore her to flying status as well. :x

Has anything been like this been recovered from 2 miles down? Seems like a long shot, but I'd like to see it happen too!

Interesting! I was thinking about ending up a reef like this food for crabs in my years at sea. All the ships i worked the crew cabins were located around and under waterline, warmer bulkheads at tropic ,cold in northern seas and banging ice in Glacier Bay, watertight doors at the end of passageways one way out only.
Love the sea it's fascinating, no traffic, no pollution.
