Title: Why do vehicles spawn in with engines running?
Post by: oboe on March 10, 2018, 06:02:20 PM
It seems to me it gives spawn campers an undue advantage over the spawning vehicle, doesn't it?

If you hit "E" as soon as you spawn Hitech says they wont hear you.  If you spawn with it running people complain they are spotted, if you spawn with it off they complain that it doesn't start quick enough the get out of a camp.

They cant win.

Correct Fugi, if you hit "E" as soon as you spawn in you kill your engine before they can hear it. Of course the GV dar lets everyone know that your there somewhere.

There has to be someone within 9 miles or something of the GV for dar to even be active.  There's still plenty opportunity to sneak.  You all really need to stop hijacking every thread to complain about GV dar.  Planes have had dar bar for years regardless of how close someone is or whether or not it's even friendly territory, enemy territory, empty ocean or off the map.   :old:

I prefer to having engine running when I spawn in-start moving faster.
