:aok <--- (See what I did there? 'Cause you can do that with the Touch controllers. Get it? ;))
Seriously, a very positive development. Aside from game mechanics, this should also help shut down one of the major complaints in the game's reviews on the Oculus and Steam stores. Kudos.

I'm still just getting a black screen. What is it?
People who know about VR systems can describe it more accurately, but essentially it permits you to operate the cockpit controls manually, e.g., reaching over to advance the throttles, lifting the gear retract lever, that sort of thing. No more need for either a joystick or throttle.
OTOH, it probably also means that your actions will be more realistically delayed. You can't just push a button on the throttle four times to get full flaps.
- oldman (well, I suppose you can, if you don't use this system to its fullest.)

Nice visual clarity. Is that because it’s a recording vs what’s seen through the Oculus headset?

Just tried the VR hands in game. The hands are frozen with index finger extended and won’t respond to normal input. In preferences, VR, all the VR boxes are unchecked. TrackIR Object Relative Move. Box is unchecked. The hand controllers work normally outside of AH. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

It looks really cool, but I need the feel of the stick and throttle, or I would get lost without the tactile feedback. But that's just me.
Who was doing the flying?

Will other users be able to see them? Could be quite useful for... ummm... hand gestures in the WW1 arena :D
it would be cool to have a feature where you could make the pilot shake his fist and other things like saluting. Would make for some great entertainment in the video editor!
