Title: Patch Release notes
Post by: Randy1 on April 12, 2018, 09:22:54 PM
Not all people come to the forum.  HTC should really put the patch release notes in the game opening message. I had not been to the forum in some time.

This last release as an example essentially deleted mode 3 and mode 4 and bomber operation without even a hint it had happened.

Some people like myself got sick with the new VR changes. No warning.

after the patch is installed there is a read me with all the information of what was changed in the patch. You have to close that window to start the game.

Haven't seen that for the last few patches.

We disabled that so if some one was updating more then one patch the would not need user input to continue to install the next patch.

Was considering adding a release notes button on the top menu.  They are always shipped with the patch in changes.txt

I think that would be a good idea.  It's not good enough for information to be available for most people, it needs to be in front of them, possibly flashing.
