Well, if you cannot connect to the BBS and the game (two different paths) then there is a good chance there is a problem upstream of us we have no control over.

Try running a Ping Plot to the server giving you grief and see if that is the case.  If it is (my bet is it will be), then time is the only thing that will fix it.

By the way, you really think sending me a bat signal like lyric1 suggested, is going to get me to pay attention to your ugly mug? :)

It was only down for about a half hour for me and a couple others.
