Title: Is Aces High mph?
Post by: 1Cane on April 26, 2018, 10:28:42 AM
Last night one of the players said" he was being chased by P38 doing 600 knots" the discussion started as several players said the game was at knot's rather than mph.  What is the correct answer? I have always thought the game was in miles per hour since the sectors are measured in miles

MPH in game and in real life.  Here is a photo of the Army Type F-2 Airspeed Indicator that was used on most heavy bombers and fighters in the USAAF during the war.

In real life WW2 the vast majority of aircraft was using km/h.

This is not exactly true.  In WWII all US Aircraft used MPH.
