Title: View in Hanger and Tower
Post by: 1ijac on May 04, 2018, 11:02:59 AM
I have a squaddie that is having a problem with his views in both the hanger and tower.  When he enters the tower or hanger, he is looking up.  He says the views are normal in flight and the hat switch and others views are also normal.  Any suggestions?

Has he tried to adjust and save his head-position, the same way we do in plane/gv's?

He said yes and it didn't work.

Usually means there is a stuck button.  Not uncommon.

Easy way to test is to rename the "settings" folder and then try it and see if the problem is cured.

If it still does it, then kill the new "settings" folder, unplug the stick from the computer and try it again.

Wouldn't that be a global issue and not subject to only hanger & tower views?

Depends on the mapping.

He could also have some outside program sending the input to the game.

TY skuzzy,  I asked him if he had a stuck button and he said no.  I'll tell him about the settings folder.

Thanks,  One-eye

He will not know if he has a stuck button or not, if the button is failing.

Doing what I suggested should narrow down what is causing it.
