Since the update, I have to cycle my joystick throttle down and then up again before it registers in game. I launch with the throttle at full, but the game sees zero throttle. Once I run the throttle all the way down and then back up again, it all works properly.
I am using a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.

You will see that same behavior in your windows joystick properties display.
It won't register until you move it.

I have the same issue with my CH throttle

This is not a bug. The system now is set to see any throttle movement to determine if you wish to use key board throttle or JS throttle. Or a different increase decrease throttle.

I probably do not understand the full feature. but wouldent it be less confusing if it would be a toggle button at the start screen so you can choose the mode you want the game in and remembers your previous choose?
I would have spend several hours throwing my joystick trough the room if I didn't see this post.

My CH throttle behaved in the same manner. Good to know it's not on the fritz.
Something else I've noticed since the patch before last...My tank turret will not hold position; it drops slowly. In the past (AH2) calibrating resolved the issue. Not any longer. Is there a fix?

Yeah, I was wondering what the heck was wrong with my stick until someone told me what was going on.
I prefer the way it was before, but, I see the reasoning.

After some 18 or 19 years it now works different. I wonder if the day will come when Joy sticks are no longer recognized in the game. if it will all be VR?
