I had to hard reset my PC three times to exit AHIII (DX9)
I then tried DX11 and that shuts down with no problem.

Wow! Thanks for looking into this issue.

As 99.99 percent of the rest of the players had no problem exiting the DX9 version or the game, Im guessing YOUR computer may have an issue. You might want to look into it.

I moved this to Tech Support forum as there is not enough information to qualify as a Bug Report.
We have already had one player who has had issues with the latest Windows 10 update, so lets start there. A DXDIAG output might be helpful.
A description of what you were doing when the game appears to lockup might help.
When you say lockup, what makes you think the computer was locked up? Did Ctrl-Alt-Del not bring up the Task Manager?
We are not in the office on the weekends and our office closes Friday at 5:00pm CST.

Started doing this after the last AH update.

Correct. After I tried to exit the game my PC froze.

Our last update coincided with the release of the Windows 10 update.
Really need to see a DXDIAG output.

It may have something to do with being on the Windows 10 Insiders program, or the latest 'hot-fix' from Nvidia.
I filed reports to both of them as well, just in case.
