Title: cant get on the game.

Every time i try to log on i high light the Melee arena and when i click "ok" the game locks up and cant get out of it. tried for two days.

Can you play offline?

If so, then something (firewall, anti-xxxx, malware, spyware, virus.....) may be blocking the games access to the Internet.

Have you tried running a Ping Plot to the servers?

Skuzzy locks up for off line play to just tried it. DX9 version have to try 11 yet.

Just tried 11 version and it logs on not sure why 9 wont.

allcrapp, you have the Windows 10 Insider build installed which also installed a new NVidia video driver.

Due to some other problems showing up in that build, I would suggest you do a roll back to the previous version of Windows 10 and see if that fixes the problem.

I also noted the NVidia driver installation also installed the NVidia HDMI audio pass-through driver, which has always been a bit problematic unless you are expecting sound to come from your monitor speakers.

It appears Windows Insider Build 17661 broke more than it fixed.
Rolling back to the last stable version of Windows 10 got me up and running again.

Microsoft is not the only one who messed up.  NVidia has a really bad driver out in the wild which breaks a lot of things as well.

Same issue here, I can't log into any online arena.  Was playing last night without issue.  However I'm at a hotel on their wifi now; could that be the issue?  No new updates since January to the laptop.

Game freezes (not responding) when you click OK to lanuch an arena.  Then back to intro screen/clipboard.

I was able to get into the Training Arena. But no other online arena.

Now have met 4 others in the TA with the same issue. Cannot get into MA.  Anyone???

If your game installation needs the terrain, then you will not be able to get into the game yet, as it appears the download servers Internet connection is still down.
