It seems to become more of an issue as of late where a field is taken however a pilot has bailed out somewhere near a base and causes a red end sortie. Unless the pilot is found and killed (near impossible without checking film especially when they are pinned up against a tree) GV's nearby cannot land their kills.
Please find a way to fix this.

Doesn't the endsortie go green when stopped in a hangar?

Yeah, but they want to end sortie in the tree where they are still parked.

Exactly the point - in the VH it does. If I'm 2-3 miles off the base I shouldn't have to take the extra 5+ minutes to drive back to the VH to land kills because of an ejected pilot. Just like a pilot does not flash the base / town when they bail out, they should not affect the end sortie.

I thought you wanted things fair? By that logic I shouldn't have to RTB for 5 minutes from a sector or two over to land my kills in an aircraft.

Wow. A new way to grief a horde. Thanks!

The downside of spawn camping.

It's just someone trying to kill your armor with their .45. Once that achievement is had they will move on.

Wiley - There is a difference - you're just being difficult.

Just to find someone backed up in the VH spawn killing? *cough* Hoagi *cough*.... That was a frustrating lesson. Landed 262 -> killed by airjer in his GV vultching aircraft -> upped Tiger II in anger, to be killed instantly from within the VH by Hoagi; not realizing what happened I upped Tiger II again, dead before I can look around...... Why again are there no players in the arenas? :bhead

Certainly not because of hangar camping. :)

Does not help, though.

Should never assume someone is going to bail and tower. Everyone can track a chute from a bailed aircraft. It’s Simple enough to investigate and dispatch the pilot should he not tower.
Ever think that it was set up that way for that exact purpose?
That battle isn’t over until the last man standing is dead.
Just a thought

I will walk up to your runway and bust caps into your cockpit.

And this used to be easy when there was less ack on a field. Just hide by the re-arm pad and wait.....boom....tower...and going WTF just happend.

Was thread awhile back re:picking up downed pilots.....maybe offer carrot, rather than stick?
Just thought.
