Title: 350 Squadron Spitfire Mk XIV

The RAF's 350 (Belgian) Squadron re-equipped with Spitfire Mk XIVs in August 1944. They were used initially for bomber escort missions and V-1 interception and later for ground attack and fighter sweeps. This particular aircraft RM693 was flown by several 350 Squadron pilots including the CO Sqn Ldr Mike Donnet. It's under-wing D Day stripes would have been deleted after a few weeks service at the end of August and the fuselage ones at the end of the year.
