Title: SEACfire
Post by: Greebo on July 15, 2018, 11:14:26 AM
Thanks to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin.

This 834 NAS Seafire was part of the escort carrier HMS Battler's air group while operating in the South East Asia theatre in early 1943. To avoid confusion with Japanese markings it had its red-centred British markings over-painted and replaced with white and blue SEAC ones. In March 1943 HMS Battler docked in South Africa for a refit and its Seafires were flown off to be used locally for advanced training. When HMS Battler returned to duty it was with the more durable Wildcats.

Good work.  The belly detail is particularly well done.  Love that stuff...

These NAS colors are why I like flying with your skins Greebo. You do a great rendition of them.
